By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms apply primarily to purchases made by consumers. If you are purchasing products for commercial or business purposes, please contact us before placing your order so that we can provide you with the applicable terms.

2. Products and Product Information

We make every effort to ensure that the information, descriptions, photographs and prices displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.

Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings and lighting conditions.

Many of our products are handmade or hand printed. As a result, individual pieces may show slight variations in colour, pattern, texture, print placement or finish.

These variations are a natural characteristic of handcrafted products and are part of what makes each piece individual. They do not constitute a defect where the product otherwise corresponds to the agreed quality and description.

3. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, we will inform you as soon as possible.

If we are unable to fulfil your order, any payment already made for the unavailable product will be refunded without undue delay.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or change product designs, descriptions or availability at any time. Such changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

4. Prices

All prices displayed on our website are final prices and include applicable statutory VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs are not included in the product price unless expressly stated. Any applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

For deliveries outside the European Union, additional customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

5. Placing an Order

Products can be added to your shopping cart before completing your purchase.

Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct the details of your order.

By clicking the final order button, you place a legally binding order for the products in your shopping cart.

After placing your order, you will receive an automated email confirming that we have received your order.

The purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation or by dispatching the ordered products, whichever occurs first, unless otherwise stated.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you and refund any payment already made.

6. Payment

The payment methods available to you will be displayed during the checkout process.

Payment is due at the time of placing the order unless another payment arrangement is expressly stated.

Payments are processed through the payment providers made available through our Shopify checkout.

We do not have access to your complete payment card details where these are processed directly by the relevant payment provider.

7. Delivery

We deliver to the countries shown as available during checkout.

Available delivery options, shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be displayed during the ordering process.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, availability of the product and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If there is an unexpected delay affecting your order, we will inform you where reasonably possible.

If an order contains multiple products with different availability dates, we may ship the products separately.

8. Transfer of Risk

For consumer purchases, the risk of accidental loss or accidental damage to the goods passes to the customer when the goods are delivered to the customer or to a third party designated by the customer who is not the carrier.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

9. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer within the meaning of applicable consumer protection law, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period and the conditions for exercising this right are explained in our separate Withdrawal Policy.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by law, including products that are made according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory statutory consumer rights.

10. Returns

If you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, the applicable return conditions are set out in our Withdrawal Policy.

Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer.

Returned products should be handled with reasonable care.

Where legally permitted, you may be liable for a reduction in the value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.

11. Defective or Incorrect Products

Your statutory rights regarding defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products remain unaffected.

If you receive an item that appears to be damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us at info@indoedit.com as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess the issue more quickly.

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

12. Statutory Warranty Rights

We are responsible for ensuring that products supplied to consumers comply with the applicable statutory requirements.

If a product is defective, you have the statutory rights available under applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation of the contract where the relevant legal requirements are met.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory warranty rights.

Minor variations in handmade products, including variations in colour, pattern, texture or print placement that are characteristic of the manufacturing process, do not constitute a defect where they fall within the expected characteristics of the product.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including photographs, product images, text, logos, graphics, designs and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or commercially use our content without our prior written permission unless such use is permitted by law.

14. Customer Reviews and Submissions

If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, comment or other content to us, you must ensure that you have the necessary rights to provide that content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

Where we wish to use customer submitted content for marketing or other purposes, we will only do so where we have an appropriate legal basis or the necessary permission.

15. Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and current.

However, occasional typographical errors, pricing errors, availability errors or other inaccuracies may occur.

Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to correct such errors.

If an obvious error affects an order that you have placed, we will contact you and provide you with the appropriate options available under applicable law.

16. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and functioning properly.

However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical errors.

We may temporarily suspend access to the website where necessary for maintenance, security, technical updates or other operational reasons.

This does not affect your statutory rights relating to products you have purchased.

17. Third Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to third party websites or may use services provided by third parties, including payment, delivery, analytics and other service providers.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of independent third party websites.

The use of third party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third party.

18. Liability

We are liable in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, intentional misconduct, fraud, breach of mandatory statutory obligations, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where permitted by law, our liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable and typical damages resulting from the breach of a material contractual obligation.

These limitations do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

19. Prohibited Use

You must not use our website or services:

  1. for any unlawful purpose;

  2. to infringe our intellectual property rights or the rights of others;

  3. to submit false or misleading information;

  4. to introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;

  5. to interfere with the security or operation of our website;

  6. to collect personal information belonging to other users without a lawful basis; or

  7. to use automated systems to scrape, copy or reproduce substantial portions of our website without our permission.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where there is a legitimate reason to do so.

20. Privacy

The processing of personal information in connection with your use of our website and your orders is governed by our Privacy Policy.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time where necessary, for example because of changes to our services or applicable legal requirements.

The version applicable to your purchase is the version in force at the time the contract is concluded.

22. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in the country where you normally reside.

If you are a consumer resident in another European Union country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection provided by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence where those provisions apply.

23. Consumer Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving customer concerns directly and encourage you to contact us first at info@indoedit.com.

The former European Union Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. We therefore do not refer customers to that platform.

We are not required to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings unless applicable law requires otherwise.
